Patience, they say, is a virtue.

I never wanted to change who you are. I accepted you. with your imperfections and slightly flawed nature.
I don't know if it's fate or merely coincidence that we've crossed paths in this life. for my part I know that I learned a lot from knowing you, and together we share so much... I do regret knowing you sometimes, because you make it hard for people who love you, and other times I wonder if I hadn't known you who would I be today?

I know I wouldn't be the me I know
and I decided that I'm gonna keep you because I owe you that much.

This rings so true! </3 Its so hard loving this person but I still do. But he doesn't even notice how much I care- as a friend. And I don't say, because letting your guard down is a chance for you to get hurt.
Beautiful words. Keep Writing.

I read this and read it again, wondering why it had so captured my imagination. Then it dawned on me. It could have been written about me!
